Hello Parents & Families of Room 8!
Welcome to Room 8's blog! I hope you will find this site as an efficient and useful way to keep up-to-date on the things that are going on in our classroom and school!
You will find helpful websites and information, as well as reminders and info on upcoming events, that may be useful to you and your child.

Responsibilities


Homework
Homework will be sent home each Monday in the Homework Folder, and should be returned on Friday in the same manner. 

Backpacks
It is suggested that each child have a large-sized backpack to carry homework, important papers, artwork, jackets, lunch/snack, etc.  This will help you child keep everything together and not have to hold things in their tiny hands.

Library
Students will go to the Library once a week.  It is important to build the responsibility of checking out books and returning them on time.  Students will not be allowed to check out a new book, unless their library book is returned.  Lost books will to be paid for before your child may check out any more books.

Computer
Students will go to the computer lab once a week.  We will be practicing basic typing, mouse skills, and graphic design.
